Wet Wednesdays

Food drive
Golden Harvest Food Bank will hold Rock Out for Hunger at Earth Fare in Evans from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, with music by the Mason Jars. Earth Fare and Organizing for America also will hold a food drive from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. For information, call (706) 736-1199.
Riverkeeper

Caregiver class
Friday is the deadline to register for the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Service seminar Powerful Tools for Caregivers. The six weekly classes for family caregivers will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays from July 6-Aug. 10. Cost is $30 per person.
