Great Clips, Sky Nails, White House Cleaners and Woody's Spirits will be constructed at the Publix-anchored development at Washington Road and William Few Parkway.
According to a news release, Great Clips is expected to open by January, and the three other stores by late 2009.
Riverwood is being developed by Charlotte, N.C.-based Crosland LLC and Meybohm Realtors. The project is the commercial element of Riverwood Plantation, a 3,800-acre planned unit development, according to the release.
"We're happy to bring these services and conveniences closer to home for the residents of Riverwood Plantation and other nearby neighborhoods," Crosland leasing associate Gwen Glaeser said in the news release.
No further information about the project was available, according to an e-mail from a Crosland representative.
Construction on the 46,500-square-foot Publix started four months ago and might be finished by November, county Development Services Director Richard Harmon said recently.
The 15-acre commercial site also includes five outparcels that will front Washington Road or William Few Parkway.
Columbia County planners announced in February that a CVS pharmacy will occupy the property's front corner lot.
