Soccer tryouts

The GA-SC Bulls Soccer Club will hold youth soccer tryouts for the 2009-2010 season for ages U14 to U19 until Saturday. Tryout sites, times and other information, as well as online registration can be found at www.ga-scbulls.com or by calling (706) 312-7415.
The Augusta Arsenal Youth Soccer Club will hold tryouts for boys and girls ages 13-19 at the Augusta Soccer Park at 6 p.m. today and Thursday. For information, go to www.augustasoccer.com. Those new to the area or those who missed 8-12 year-old tryouts should call the Arsenal office at (706) 854-0149.
Golf tournaments
The Evans High School football program and Touchdown Club will host its third-annual golf tournament Saturday at Bartram Trail Golf Club. Hole sponsorships are available for $100. Junior Achievement will hold its second All Fore Kids Golf Tournament on Saturday at Belle Meade Country Club. Registration starts at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Cost is $60 per person or $300 per team plus hole sponsorship. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers, and the tournament will also include raffle gifts, goodie bags and lunch. The inaugural Grovetown High School Warrior Golf Classic will be held June 20 at Bartram Trail Golf Course. Shotgun start is at 1 p.m. Cost is $75 per person or $300 per team, with proceeds benefiting the Grovetown High School Athletic Booster Foundation. Softball tourney
The USSSA Southeast Military Softball Program will hold the regional championship June 20-21 at Sweetwater in Thomson. The tournament features men's Varsity A, B, Intramural, and Women's Varsity Softball. Entry fee is $245, includes a three-game guarantee, balls are provided, and a paid berth to the world qualifier. Team registration is open through June 18. All military, retiree, Department of Defense, dependents and military contractors are eligible to participate.
