- The Evans High School football program and Touch-down Club will hold its third annual golf tournament Saturday at Bartram Trail Golf Club. Hole sponsorships are available for $100, and donations will be accepted. - Junior Achievement will hold its second All Fore Kids Golf Tournament on Saturday at Belle Meade Country Club. Registration starts at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Cost is $60 per person or $300 per team plus hole sponsorship. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers, and the tournament also will include raffle gifts, goodie bags and lunch. - The inaugural Grovetown High School Warrior Golf Classic will be June 20 at Bartram Trail Golf Course. Shotgun start at 1 p.m. Cost is $75 per person or $300 per team, with proceeds benefiting the Grovetown High School Athletic Booster Foundation. Boat ramp closings
The boat ramps at Wild-wood Park will be closed today for drag boat races. The cove the ramps extend into will be closed to boat traffic today.
Softball tourney
The USSSA Southeast Military Softball Program will hold the regional championship June 20-21 at Sweetwater Park in Thomson. Entry fee is $245. Team registration is open through June 18. Soccer tryouts

Harlem High seeks football players
Students zoned to attend Harlem High School in the fall who want to play football are asked to call coach Jimmie Lewis at (706) 564-4712 for summer workout information.
Grovetown High football combine
The Southeastern Coaches Combine will be held July 27 at Grovetown High School. Players eighth-12th grades zoned for Grovetown High School are welcome to attend. Umpires sought
