Citizens should help pet rescue group whose crates were stolen
Just when I thought I had heard it all, I ... learned that Heartsong Animal Rescue and Clinic had lost their very valuable animal crates to thieves.

When the police officer assumed the fictional persona of a 13-year-old girl, wasn't he (the cop) guilty of creating a sinful chain of events in Adam's mind?
Late Dr. Weston 'left great footprint on the CSRA' with his service
Dr. Paul Weston became the first black surgeon to have admitting privileges at University Hospital in 1952. That was also the year that my mother had her first child at University Hospital in Augusta. She would not know that their paths would cross many years later.

Summer Sports Camps Calendar

Rich Poythress' Dawg days are probably at end
It looks like we have seen the last of Rich Poythress in a Georgia Bulldog uniform. The first baseman just concluded his junior season in Athens, and since he will almost certainly be a high pick in the upcoming baseball draft, it is unlikely he will be back for his senior season.

The Evans High School football program and Touchdown Club will host its third-annual golf tournament June 13 at Bartram Trail Golf Club. Hole sponsorships are available for $100 and other donations will be accepted.
Lakeside teammates still united
Rosbie Mutcherson and CJ Marshall grew up playing basketball together, were part of a nucleus that made Lakeside basketball competitive and have decided to stick together after high school.
Hayden's cheer team technically superior
Leslie Anderson's team didn't have to travel far to win an international competition, and they had technology to thank. The Hayden's Gym Senior Teal squad was named Grand Champion of the International All Levels Championships after winning a technically savvy competition in Atlanta on May 22.
