- The Augusta Choral Society will sponsor a golf tournament benefit on Monday at Belle Meade Country Club in Thomson. The format will be Lauderdale/Best Ball. A new Dodge truck is the hole-in-one prize. The event, sponsored by the Knox Foundation, will include a low-country boil, prizes for the three best-scoring teams and other prizes. - The Evans High School football program and Touchdown Club will play host to its third-annual golf tournament June 13 at Bartram Trail Golf Club. Hole sponsorships are available for $100, and other donations will be accepted. - The inaugural Grovetown High School Warrior Golf Classic will be held June 20 at Bartram Trail Golf Course. Shotgun start is at 1 p.m. Cost is $75 per person or $300 per team, with proceeds benefiting the Grovetown High School Athletic Booster Foundation. - The second annual Larry Bray Memorial Golf Tournament will be held June 22 at West Lake Country Club. A reception for participants will be held June 20 at 6 p.m. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
