The University of Georgia Toastmaster Teen Leadership Program for middle and high school students will be held June 1-4 and 8-10, with a graduation dinner June 11.
The class is taught by professor Jean Embry, a master toastmaster and author, and is designed to improve students' leadership and public speaking skills. Embry has taught the course for 15 years.
The course, which includes 28 hours of class time, costs $45. Each student receives a certificate of achievement and an award at the graduation dinner.
Space in the program is limited, and the last day to sign up is June 1. For information, call the extension office at (706) 868-3413.
