Friends of Columbia County Libraries are seeking donations of used books, CDs, DVDs, video and audio tapes and other materials to sell in the Friends used book area at the library in Evans. The materials are sold in the Friends store, with funds used to buy new books and fund library programs. Donations are accepted at the circulation desks of the Evans and Euchee Creek libraries. Mistletoe State Park will hold two-hour guided night canoe cruises starting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and June 5. Each cruise is limited to six canoes, with three people per canoe.
