Westmont Elementary School will hold a spring fling carnival from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Friday at the school.

Gospel sing

Choral program

The Columbia County Choral Society will present "There is a River," a program of Americana choral music, at 7 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Evans, Belair at Washington roads. Girl Talk

The Girl Talk session for girls ages 9-12 with nurse Trudi Dunn will be held 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Columbia County Library. To register, call (706) 863-1946.

Book fair

A book fair benefiting Greenbrier High School will be held 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at Barnes and Noble Booksellers at Augusta Mall. Chorus, guitar, band and drama students from Greenbrier will perform during the afternoon, and the school media center will receive a percentages of all sales if the customer tells the store to count the sale towards the school. Vouchers also may be printed from the school's Web site.

Chorale concert

The Augusta Chorale, directed by Dr. Phyllis Anderson, will feature a concert of Broadway favorites at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Gilbert-Lambuth Chapel at Paine College. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $5 for students. For information, call (706) 830-0991.
