Essay contest
Heartsong Animal Rescue is holding a "Be Kind to Animals Essay Contest" in recognition of the American Humane Association's 95th annual Be Kind to Animals Week, May 3-9. Essay contest
Noon Friday is the deadline for the Augusta Jewish Federation essay contest for middle- and high-school students on the topic, "What Israel Means to Me."
