Why are Democrats 'so angry' even with presidency, Congress?

Re columnist Bill Shipp's April 1 headline, "Is GOP going to deal the race card?"

It appears to me that only Shipp and the Democrats see Georgians and Americans in color - red, yellow, black, white. Republicans see only people who have a God-given right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

By the way: The Democrats have had the United States Congress since the election in November 2006, with Nancy Pelosi as speaker of the House and Harry Reid the majority leader of the Senate. So they controlled the deficit spending since January 2007, including all of the bailouts. President Bush could not vote.

Now the Democrats have President Obama and the majority of the U.S. House and Senate. So why are they still so angry? They should be dancing in the streets. Oh, I know - they don't have the majority control of Georgia.
