President is endangering America by failing to support Israel

Letter to the Editor

Editor:

Warning: President Barack Hussein Obama is reaching out to Israel's enemies while simultaneously vowing to use "all resources" necessary to obstruct Israel in any military attempt to eliminate Iran's nuclear capabilities.

Does this mean Obama is willing to use America's own armed forces to discourage the Israeli government from protecting its citizens?

President Obama also is calling for a Palestinian state in Jerusalem, and for Israel to surrender valuable strategic territories to Syria.

By the way: It is America, more than any other nation in the world, that is seeking to divide the land of Israel, the apple of God's eye.

Just out of curiosity, I can't help but wonder how many of those who voted for President Obama will continue to stand with him as he foolishly picks a fight with the God of Israel.

Perhaps Obama doesn't realize the ramifications of what his decisions mean for an already crumbling America. Perhaps he needs to hear from the millions of us who are very much pro-Israel.

Because He was a Jew by birth, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ declared, "Salvation is of the Jews." Furthermore, the Apostle Paul warned believers against the folly of having sentiments that are anti-Israel in nature.

Adolf Hitler and his Third Reich were destroyed and the German people suffered greatly because of Hitler's campaign against the Jews. On the other hand, America was greatly blessed because it played a leading role in Hitler's defeat.

Now, however, under the leadership of President Obama, the United States government is implementing a "change" in foreign policy that is negatively impacting the nation of Israel. This, of course, means more bad news for America.

Because of the seriousness of these developments, I believe American Christians should eagerly display their support for the nation of Israel. Obama's bowing to Islam will not protect America from destruction; it will instead guarantee it.

Yes, we should pray that President Obama will do what is right, but we must also show him that the state of Georgia will not unite with him in any efforts that will weaken Israel and empower her enemies. President Obama is greatly endangering this country, particularly Washington, D.C., New York City and the surrounding New England area.

We are quickly approaching a chaotic day in America where the only rest, security and peace to be found will be that which is found in Jesus Christ alone.

P.K. Fitzgerald, Harlem
