Grovetown High School meetings

Football practice for Grovetown High School will start at 4 p.m. Monday at Grovetown Middle and continue until May 1. Prospective players should contact coach Rodney Holder at rholder@ccboe.net.

RV and boat show

The inaugural CSRA RV and Boat Show will be held noon to 5 p.m. May 2 at Wildwood Park in Appling, with boat and recreational vehicle displays and other outdoor recreation vendors, crafts and food. Youth soccer

The GA-SC Bulls Soccer Club, with the Columbia County Recreation Department, will offer a Bulls Junior Soccer Academy for ages 5-7 today at Blanchard Woods Park. Cost is $65 per player. Tennis tournament

The 2009 Banana Open Tennis Tournament will be held Thursday through Sunday at Petersburg Racquet Club. The tournament features men's and women's singles, doubles and mixed doubles in 2.5-5.0 divisions. Cost is $30 per person for one event and $15 per person for a second event. Softball qualifier

USSSA Southeast Military Softball Program will hold a regional qualifier May 9-10 at Diamond Lakes Park. The tournament will feature men's varsity A, B and intramural and women's varsity softball. Entry fee is $245 and includes a three-game guarantee and berth to the regional championship. Registration is open until May 3. Golf tournament

Greenbrier Middle School will hold its first annual golf tournament May 9 at Bartram Trail Golf Course. Cost is $75 for adults and $45 for children 13 and younger. Space is limited to 128 players. For information, call (706) 650-6080 or visit www.gmswolfpack.com.

Cheerleading camp
