RV and boat show
The inaugural CSRA RV and Boat Show will be held noon to 5 p.m. May 2 at Wildwood Park in Appling, with boat and recreational vehicle displays and other outdoor recreation vendors, crafts and food. The GA-SC Bulls Soccer Club, with the Columbia County Recreation Department, will offer a Bulls Junior Soccer Academy for ages 5-7 today at Blanchard Woods Park. Cost is $65 per player. The 2009 Banana Open Tennis Tournament will be held Thursday through Sunday at Petersburg Racquet Club. The tournament features men's and women's singles, doubles and mixed doubles in 2.5-5.0 divisions. Cost is $30 per person for one event and $15 per person for a second event. USSSA Southeast Military Softball Program will hold a regional qualifier May 9-10 at Diamond Lakes Park. The tournament will feature men's varsity A, B and intramural and women's varsity softball.
