Officers remember cases that left them laughing
Columbia County is considered one of the more affluent and educated counties in the state, but like any community, it also boasts its fair share of residents who do dumb things and police who are there to clean up after them.

Store to hold beer-tasting benefit
Those with a palate for unique beers can sample several during a benefit Thursday at a Martinez organic grocery store. Between 15 and 20 domestic, imported and microbrewed beers will be available from 7-9 p.m. at Earth Fare at 368 Furys Ferry Road.
