Political 'rascals' seem to have lost sight of serving the country

Americans, it's time to wake up!

We have been "had" for the past 50 to 75 years. Our elected officials at every level, be it federal, state or local, are getting "fat" on our money. They are re-elected time after time and fail to deliver the needs and wants of the people. They just line their own pockets with the graft they receive while in office. The longer they stay in office, the richer they become.

We need to push for term limits for all elected officials on every level. If they don't do a good job, they need to be voted out of office. If they do a good job, they can only serve two terms just as the president does. Get rid of the fat pensions they get now for serving for just a single term. Most are young enough to get a regular job like the rest of us.

Serving this country in office used to be an honor and was never meant to be a money-making proposition. Somewhere these rascals have lost sight of what "serving this country" means. We can't allow them to become lobbyists so they can get richer. We need to get rid of lobbyists altogether.

Stand up America! It's your money they are spending. Have you ever seen a poor congressman or senator? Some are so rich they don't even know how many houses they have.

We need term limits for all elected officials. They all can get rich enough during this time passing their own raise increases. Who amongst us can give ourselves huge raises, accept graft and keep the job for life and then retire with full pension?

What a racket.
