Re the Feb. 11 letter to The News-Times from Joe Fausnight, "Darwin's evolution theories 'unified the races into one species'":
It was awe inspiring, the manner in which Fausnight so eloquently and intellectually displayed his gift of penmanship. As I was reading his letter, I was truly impressed by this individual's keen use of the English language. That was, until I got to the point in his letter, where he made reference to "the maimed, and other useless members of society." That's where he blew it as far as my being impressed was concerned.
As Bill O'Reilley would say, "I wish to impugn on this subject." My take on this theory is anyone that subscribes to the notion of evolution is in denial of the Bible's teachings of creation. The world and events are unfolding just as the Bible prophesied.
Don't take my word for it; stop, look around, read the Good Book. I rest my case.
