Get rid of all the career politicians

Posted: Sunday, March 08, 2009

We continue to march towards socialism. The government bailouts -- which are similar to the corporate welfare programs that critics blamed former President Bush for supporting -- are going to bankrupt the country.

The Democrats and Republicans in Washington are apparently so dense and so short-sighted that neither can see that you can only spend so much money, and that there is only a limited amount of money. Any beginner accountant will tell you that you cannot spend more than you bring in without serious consequences. And the proposed government health care program is a disaster waiting to happen.

The government is not the answer to health care, education and other issues it gets involved in. Republicans spent like drunken sailors and lost their values -- which is why they took a beating in recent elections. Now the Democrats are doing the same thing. So which party can we trust?

It's politics as usual in Washington, with both parties blaming each other. And the new administration spends valuable time criticizing Rush Limbaugh rather than directing their energy towards more crucial issues.

It is time to get your pitchforks and muskets and throw out the tired old faces in the government, and replace them with new faces and ideas. It's time for term limits on Congress. No more career politicians.
