Martinez-Evans Little League has extended registration for the 2009 season until Feb. 28. Children ages 4-15 who live in Columbia County are eligible to register to play baseball and/or girls softball. Players outside Columbia County might also be eligible. Registration will be held at Kelley Park from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday and Feb. 28.

Grovetown High meetings

Grovetown High School will hold a football boosters meeting at the Greenbrier High School gym Feb. 19 at 6:30 p.m. Officers will be elected and fundraising will be discussed.

Golf tournaments

The Greenbrier Dugout Club will hold a golf tournament Monday at Bartram Trail Golf Club. Cost is $50 per person. Sponsors can purchase placements at $150 per hole. Check-in and registration begins at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m.

Softball tourney

The Hit and Run B-Class 14-U Girls Fastpitch Tournament will be held Friday and Saturday at Harlem High School. The first six teams entered will play.
