Winterfest

Time Out lunch

First Baptist Church of Evans will hold its monthly Time Out luncheon at 11:50 a.m. Thursday. Reservations for lunch, which costs $5, are due by Tuesday and can be made by calling (706) 863-1128.

Health seminars

The Columbia County Extension Service Gardening at Lunch series continues at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday with a session on roses. 4-H yard sale

The Columbia County 4-H Horse Club is holding a yard sale from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the gym at Marvin United Methodist Church, on Wheeler at Belair Road. Proceeds from the sale will benefit equine rescue efforts.
