Baseball umpires sought

The Augusta Baseball Umpires Association is recruiting umpires for the 2009 high school season. Umpiring experience and baseball knowledge are pluses. Classroom and field training will be provided. Youth soccer

- The GA-SC Bulls Soccer Club, along with the Columbia County Recreation Department, will offer a Bulls Junior Soccer Academy for ages 5-7 at Blanchard Woods Park. The academy will be offered in two sessions, with each lasting six weeks. Session I begins Feb. 4. Session II starts April 15. Cost is $65 per player for one term or $120 for both. Softball players wanted

Lifeguard classes
