E-mail this story Printer-friendly version Web posted Wednesday, January 07, 2009 Columnist's weight-loss effort 'is nothing short of inspirational' Letter to the Editor Editor: I really enjoyed Ashley Brown's recent column on his amazing weight loss (Dec. 31, "Journey to weight loss took time, a dependable plan"). Seeing him go through this process every day for the past nine months has been nothing short of inspirational! AB is a great part of The News-Times, Beasley Broadcasting and the Columbia County community, but more than that he is a husband and a father who recognized his responsibility to get healthy and he did something about it. As his friend and co-worker, I am as proud of him as I can be - and I hope his example helps all of us stay motivated to make changes in our lifestyles as needed.
