Generous contributors and volunteers made pet drive a success

On behalf of the Best Western Evans Hotel and CSRA Happy Tails Rescue, I'd like to thank all those who contributed to our "Kibble for Kritters" effort. We collected hundreds of pounds of dry and canned dog and cat food, old towels and blankets for bedding, pet toys and cleaning products for the shelter.

Thanks to those locally who contributed, to the staff members at our Best Western and Baymont Inn and Suites, and to the Red Roof Inn staff who generously donated huge bags of old sheets and blankets to be recycled into bedding. A special thank you to the rescue volunteers who shuttled car load after car load of kibble to the shelter.

The response to our collection efforts was perfectly wonderful and the kritters thank you and wish you a happy and healthy 2009!
