Taylor W. Smiley , son of Montica L. Berry, of Evans, recently enlisted in the Marine Corps under the Delayed Entry Program with Marine Corps Recruiting Station, Columbia. Smiley will complete his senior year at Evans High School.

Training graduates

Tashiych M. Forbes has graduated from the Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps Leader's Training Course at Fort Knox, Ky. Forbes is a student at Augusta State University. He is the son of Lance M. and Sandy L. Forbes, of Grovetown, and a 2003 graduate of Harlem High School.

Joshua L. Howell has graduated from the Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps Leader's Training Course at Fort Knox, Ky. Howell is the son of Keith V. Howell, of Dearing, and Julia B. Howell, of Johnson City, Tenn.

Navy Seaman Recruit Malena A. Guerrero , daughter of Marisol Cruz, of Miami, and Erich A. Guerrero, of Grovetown, recently completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Army National Guard Pvt. Timothy K. Bryan has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. Bryan is the nephew of Teresa Bryan, of Thomson.
