"It is a sequel from last year," said Tommy Sunderland, the church's Minister of Music. "If they saw it last year, this is like a continuation of the story."

The church has performed the holiday musical for 30 years. Three performers -- Cheryl Mattox, Johnny Partridge and Deborah Partridge -- have participated in the event for all 30 years, Sunderland said.

Four performances are scheduled 7 p.m. Dec. 12-14 and at 3 p.m. Dec. 14. Tickets are free and are available at Abilene Baptist, 3917 Washington Road in Martinez.

"There are still some tickets for Friday's performance available," Sunderland said, adding that groups of 10 or more are encouraged to attend the Dec. 14 matinee and to call ahead. "Saturday's (tickets) are very limited. The most tickets are available for the 3 and 7 p.m. performances Sunday." For information, call (706) 869-1774.
