The eighth annual Christmas in America Festival, the lighting of Columbia County's Christmas tree, will be held from 3-9 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Columbia County Amphitheater in Evans.
The event will feature a concert with area bands at 3 p.m., performances by Columbia County Ballet, the Dickens Carolers and the Elementary School Mass Chorus at 5:30 p.m., the tree lighting at 6:30 p.m. and an outdoor showing of the movie Elf at 7 p.m. (weather permitting).
