The President Pro Tempore of the state Senate will be the keynote speaker at a legislative breakfast Tuesday.
//
Sponsored by the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, the breakfast starts at 7 a.m. at Savannah Rapids Pavilion.
President Pro Tem Eric Johnson will discuss legislative issues lawmakers likely will face when the General Assembly reconvenes in January.
At previous legislative breakfasts, other area state lawmakers also spoke on state issues and are scheduled to do so again Tuesday.
Likely topics for discussion include state budget cuts and the fizzling economy.
The breakfast is free for Chamber members and $20 for first-time visitors. Reservations are required and can be made by e-mailing tammy@columbiacountychamber.com.
