William Banks helped Augusta Christian escape many jams this season, but he was finally bottled up Friday night.

Wilson Hall kept the Lions' senior out of the end zone, and Augusta Christian fell 26-9 in the first round of the SCISA Class AAA playoffs.
The Lions beat Wilson Hall 14-7 during the regular season. But Wilson Hall entered the rematch knowing whom it needed to stop.
Banks, who replaced the injured Jackson Whitley early in the season, rushed for 66 yards and passed for 75 yards and two interceptions.
Greenbrier 59, Redan 57
Greenbrier senior Ben Turner got his first start at quarterback in his final game, and he made the most of it.
Turner, who had played receiver the majority of the year, accounted for 560 yards of total offense during the Wolfpack's 59-57 win over Redan.
Turner rushed for a school record 283 yards and five touchdowns and threw for 277 yards as Greenbrier won its first game in Region 2-AAAAA.
Lakeside 35, Josey 7
Lakeside did its part to try to sneak into a playoff berth, but the Panthers didn't get the help they needed.
The Panthers throttled Josey 35-7 to finish their season. The year began with head coach Jody Grooms being suspended for two games and questions about how the Panthers would respond.
They won their final four games to finish 7-3.
"In the last month, we've played some pretty good football," Grooms said. "All I can say is they've done everything we've asked them to do."
