Census workers
The U.S. Census Bureau is seeking workers to assist with the 2010 Census, and will hold information sessions at 2 p.m. today and at 1 and 3 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Columbia County Government Complex auditorium in Evans. Attendees should register by calling (866) 861-2010.
Garden series
The Columbia County Extension Service Gardening at Lunch series continues at 12:10 p.m. today with a session on holiday plants, and another on transplanting plants, Dec. 3. For information, call Extension Agent Charles Phillips at (706) 868-3413.

Nature walks

Prep play
Augusta Prep's Theater Department will perform J.B., a Pulitzer Prize-winning play that is an adaptation of the book of Job, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Hull Fine Arts Center, 285 Flowing Wells Road.
