Columbia county residents have reason to be proud of themselves. On Oct. 25, the Idylwilde community "It's Spooky to be Hungry " drive was a huge success. Thanks to all of our caring neighbors for their food and monetary donations.

Very special appreciation is given to four outstanding 15-year-old young men: Aaron Marlowe, John Rodriquez, Matthew Somma and Cash Thompson cheerfully visited each of the almost 100 homes in our neighborhood to collect the donations to help those in need.

What a positive example of young people they are. Thanks, guys!
