Adopt-a-Stream

Visitors are invited to join Columbia County Adopt-a-Stream volunteer teams for assessments of streams during November. Most assessments take place on Saturday mornings. For information, call John Graham at (706) 868-0296, or e-mail jopagr@comcast.net.
Fall festival
Sharon Baptist Church, 6262 Cobbham Road, in Winfield, will hold a fall festival from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
Harlem bargains
Booth space is available for the Harlem Merchant's Association Bargain Block Bash, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
