Democrats are responsible for permitting nation's financial crisis

If you vote for the Democratic ticket, please be aware of who permitted the financial and mortgage crisis to blow up in our faces.

Five years ago, the Bush Administration recommended a sharp regulatory overhaul in the housing finance industry in order to control the government sponsored "Fannie and Freddie" companies and their irresponsible lending policies.

The Democrats voted down the proposal and again, two years later, Barney Frank and Co., head of the Financial Services Committee, blocked control of the imploding mortgage industry - leading us into the worst financial crisis since the Depression.

So if you have lost some of your savings or even a job, thank your Democrat brethren in large part for squandering our economy.

If a citizen makes a bad financial decision and household income is down, you cut spending, right? Tell that to our irresponsible Congress - both parties!
