I would like to speak on behalf of Priscilla Stringfellow, the school nurse at South Columbia Elementary. My son has been a student at South Columbia since he was lucky enough to be drawn for Pre-K four years ago. This would have been his fourth year at South Columbia, except that he was placed at Evans Elementary against my will...

Stringfellow has always shown great professionalism and pride in her job and provided the utmost care for my son during his time at South Columbia. I know her better than most parents because my son had to take medication for a health condition on a daily basis. While in Stringfellow's care I knew my child would always be cared for and had no concerns as to whether or not his medication would be dispensed correctly.

It is the small things like that which enable us to take comfort in the fact that we have a loving, caring, responsible school nurse taking care of our children. Now that my youngest son is at South Columbia in Pre-K, I know he will be taken care of in the same depth of care that she maintains for all of the students at South Columbia and any other school that is fortunate enough to have her.

Columbia County is lucky to have such a caring and wonderful nurse. Please accept my letter as a raving recommendation to keep her at South Columbia and any other schools she works for in the position she is in now. She deserves this and much better. ...
