Woman reports her purse stolen
A server at Fatz Cafe told police Wednesday that her purse was taken from her vehicle while she was at the Evans restaurant.
Someone said he saw two men loitering in the parking lot about 10:15 a.m. He saw a man enter a Ford Explorer and drive off with the other two men. The witness said he then noticed the vehicle had a shattered window.
Almost $500 worth of property, including a pair of designer sunglasses, and a debit card and Social Security card were taken.
Credit card left after gas drive-off
A cashier of a Grovetown-area gas station called police Wednesday after a customer pumped gas and drove off without paying.
She said the driver of a gold Chrysler minivan left a credit card behind at the Exxon station on Jimmie Dyess Parkway about 2:30 p.m.
Martinez home is burglarized
A Martinez man told police Monday night that someone entered his residence and stole money and his checkbook.
He said he had locked his back door when he left home but that it was ajar when he returned. His checkbook and $750 were missing, he said.
Card used without man's permission
A Martinez man called police Monday after his MasterCard was used without his permission.
He said the card had been used to buy items worth $368.21 at Wal-Mart and $413.37 at unspecified locations.
