Fall baseball
The newly formed CSRA Youth Baseball League is a fall competitive youth baseball league. The league is for players ages 7-18. Each team will play on Tuesdays and Thursdays through early November. The Georgia Rockers will hold tryouts for their 12U and 14U fastpitch travel team on Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. at Patriots Park. Volunteers, boaters and donations are being sought for the second annual Take Our troops Fishing event, to be held Oct. 25-26 at Wildwood Park in Appling. The event is sponsored by the Columbia County Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Community Military and Veterans Affairs Committee. Tennis carnival
CSRA Junior Team Tennis will play host to a QuickStart Tennis Carnival at Petersburg Racquet Club on Sept. 27 at 2 p.m. The event is for beginning tennis players ages 6-10. Wildwood fest
