Students' demonstration of patriotism shows promise for nation

I attended the recent Evans/Lakeside football game and something happened at the game that I can't remember happening at any other game that I have been to in recent years.

I was sitting on the Evans side when we were asked to stand for the National Anthem. The entire student body sang the Anthem and then chanted "USA, USA."

I was taken by emotion to see patriotism making a comeback. Thank you, students. I am proud of you. You are the generation that will make the USA come back to its roots of God and country and become the leader of the free world again.

You will be the generation that will put us back into freedom and prosperity. Well done.
