Fraud program

The Grovetown Merchants Association and Queensborough National Bank and Trust will hold a free community fraud education program at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Liberty Park Community Center.

Wildwood fest

Teen 101

Chief Magistrate Wade Padgett will present the Teenage Years 101 seminar with a session for parents only at 7 p.m. Monday and a session for teens at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hull Fine Arts Center at Augusta Prep. Health seminars

Tax help

Fair pageant

Contestants ages 17-24 are being sought for the Columbia County Merchants Association 2008 Miss Columbia County Fair Scholarship Pageant, to be held Oct. 25. The contest is open to single women with judging in interview, swimsuit and evening gown. Deadline for entry is Oct. 20. Applications are available at all Columbia County high schools. St. Teresa events

St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, on Columbia Road, is holding a series of events to mark the parish's 40th anniversary. A mass and dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 27, a talent show and roast of the pastor will be held at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 4, and a fall carnival will be 2-9 p.m. Oct. 11.
