Air Force Airman 1st Class Christopher C. Sharpe, a 2001 graduate of A.R. Johnson Health, Science and Engineering Magnet High School and grandson of Clarence and Rosa Sharpe, of Hephzibah, has graduated with honors from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

Army Pvt. Richard P. Koro, grandson of Henry Mober, of Hephzibah, has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.
