Volleyball tryouts

Greenbrier High School will hold volleyball tryouts from 9:30 a.m. until noon Aug. 1 and 4 , and 3-5 p.m. Aug. 5 in the gym. Lakeside High School will hold volleyball tryouts at the gym on Friday from noon until 3 p.m., Saturday from noon until 3 p.m. and Monday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Current physical and proof of insurance required. Softball tryouts

- Evans High School will hold a softball tryout from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. and 5-7 p.m. Friday at the school's softball field. Participants must have a physical and proof of insurance. For information, call Colette Cassady at (706) 868-1977.

- Greenbrier High School will hold softball tryouts Aug. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the Greenbrier softball field. Participants must have a physical and proof of insurance. For information, call Garrett Black at (706) 564-9653.

Charity game

The 14th annual Jawbones vs. Sawbones (lawyers vs. doctors) basketball game will be held at 7 p.m. Aug. 8 at the Augusta Christian School gym. Tickets cost $5 at the door. For information, call Nancy Naylor at (706) 231-4640.

Team reunion
