Fire meeting
Martinez-Columbia Fire Rescue will hold its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Aug. 4 at fire headquarters, 3910 Desoto Drive, in Martinez.
Caregiver series
Thursday is the deadline to register for a six-week educational series for caregivers to be held at Brandon Wilde at 6:30 p.m. each Thursday starting July 31. Columbia County's Family Movie Matinees are held at 1 p.m. each Wednesday at the Jabez Sanford Hardin Performing Arts Center, with Chicken Little today and Walt Disney's The Wild , July 30. Christ Family Life Center will hold its 2008 Youth Summit Aug. 1-2.
