Conditioning camp

Columbia County Recreation Department volunteer coach Jim Siple is holding his fifth annual summer workout for students ages 10 and older preparing for fall sports. The program is free and is held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays through the end of August. For information, call Siple (706) 860-1592.

Golf camp

The Family YMCA 2008 Golf Camps second session will be held Monday through Thursday at Bartram Trail Golf Course. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $149. For information, call Jay Brooks at (706) 830-2752.

Soccer camp

The GA-SC Bulls Soccer Club will hold Bulls Summer Soccer Camps. Sessions will be for boys and girls ages 5-14 and will be held in Columbia County, North Augusta and Aiken during July. Basketball camp

Sure Shot Basketball Camp will offer different summer sessions to two different age groups. Boys grades 6-9 can register July 28 to Aug. 1 (Greenbrier Middle). Each camp runs 1-4:30 p.m. each day. Registration costs $80. Boys and girls grades 2-5 can register for any of the dates. Cost is $75 and each camp is held at Lakeside Middle School from 9 a.m. until noon each day. Volleyball camps

The CSRA Heat Volleyball Club will be hosting clinics on Sunday afternoons at Augusta Prep for girls grades 5 through 12. The clinics will run until Aug. 3. The cost is $85.
