The American Legion Legacy Run for motorcycles begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at Southgate Plaza in Augusta and ends in the parking lot of Dino's Chicago Express on Washington Road, in Evans. Registration costs $5 per motorcycle. All proceeds will support the Legion's scholarship for children of service members killed in war. For information, e-mail 1bubblehead@comcast.net.

Writers meet

CSRA Writers will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Barnes and Noble Booksellers, 1336 Augusta West Parkway. Writers needing a support group are invited to attend and bring eight copies of a manuscript to be critiqued. Call Steve Fox at (706) 836-7315.

Camp meeting
