A bluegrass concert to benefit Daryl Morris, of Appling, who is recovering from an aortic aneurism, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Purvis Community Center, off Wrens Highway outside Thomson. There is no admission charge, but donations will be accepted. Concessions also will be for sale.
A six-week educational series for caregivers will be held at Brandon Wilde at 6:30 p.m. each Thursday starting July 31.
