Savannah College of Art and Design spring Dean's List

The following full-time undergraduate students who earned a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the quarter received recognition on the dean's list. David Watkins of Appling, architecture major; Karen Filpus-Luyckx of Augusta, illustration major; Anna Rogers of Augusta, graphic design major; Corey Vaughan of Evans, industrial design major; Jonathan Nguyen of Martinez, industrial design major.

Camden Military Academy recognitions

Cadet Byron R. Lyle, a rising eighth-grader, and grandson of James and Avis Lyle of Martinez, has been promoted to D Company Corporal (CPL). He lettered in track, is a Gold Star Award recipient for one semester and is an A student.

Cadet Donald A. Kruscavage, a tenth-grader, and son of Ed and Joan Kruscavage of Martinez, has been promoted to A Company sergeant (SSG)). He is lettered in golf and is a Gold Star Award recipient for two semesters.

Best Buy scholarship

A Best Buy Scholarship has been awarded to Elizabeth Brown, a 2008 graduate of Augusta Preparatory Day School. Elizabeth is the daughter of Jill and Michael Brown and plans to attend Vanderbilt University.

Furman University spring Dean's List
