Advance voting for the July 15 General Primary begins Monday in the Columbia County Board of Elections Office, 500 Faircloth Dr., Building E, Evans, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday. For information, call (706) 868-3355.

Democrats meet

Columbia County's Democratic Party will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Columbia County Government Complex Auditorium. Candidates in the July 15 election are invited to speak. Call (706) 231-1513.

Archaeology camp

Movie matinees

Columbia County's Family Movie Matinees are held at 1 p.m. each Wednesday at the Jabez Sanford Hardin Performing Arts Center, with Racing Stripes on Wednesday, Bridge to Terabithia , July 16; Chicken Little , July 23; and Walt Disney's The Wild , July 30.
