My vote for Georgia state representative of District 117 will go to former Columbia County commissioner Lee Anderson. Anderson has strong roots in this area. And he should; his family has been farming here forever.

Ham radio more than hobby
After a natural disaster or other emergency, amateur or "ham" radio operators are often the only line of communication. Ham radio doesn't depend on the infrastructure of cell phones, telephones or the Internet. That infrastructure can be disabled during storms or other emergencies.

Whose pet?
