There was an error in the Sunday, May 18 editorial, "What have we done to make Sonny mad?"

It notes, "The chimney (Confederate Powder Works)... the only surviving structure built by the government of the Confederate States of America." That is incorrect.

One other known structure exists. It is a small building within the walls of the "Arsenal Square" at Augusta State University.

The small building was constructed by the Confederates and since then has been used for many purposes, including coal storage, tool shed, a washroom, stable and a library. It is currently known as "Studio B" on the ASU campus and used by the artist in residence.

This building is the only surviving Confederate structure at the former arsenal.
