Columbia County's eighth annual Red, White and Blue Veterans Celebration will be held from 7-9:30 p.m. Saturday in front of the courthouse in Evans, and will feature performances by the Augusta Children's Chorale, the U.S. Army Signal Corps Band and a fireworks show over Evans at dusk. Voter drives
The Columbia County Board of Elections will hold voter registration drives from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at Kmart in Martinez, and 6-9 p.m. Saturday at Columbia County's Red, White and Blue Veterans Celebration in Evans. Spring revival
Sharon Baptist Church, 6262 Cobbham Road, Winfield, will hold its spring revival 7 p.m. today-Wednesday with the Rev. Phil Bray, pastor of Fort Creek Baptist Church in Dearing, and music leader Hal Perdue. A nursery will be provided.
Writers meet
CSRA Writers will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Barnes and Noble Booksellers, 1336 Augusta West Parkway. Writers needing a support group are invited to attend and bring eight copies of a manuscript to be critiqued. For information, call Steve Fox at (706) 836-7315.

Summer program
The Columbia County Foundation for Children is holding a summer community service program for students of high-school age willing to complete a minimum of 10 hours from June 3-Aug. 8.
