Now that The Chronicle has decided to join the publisher of The Columbia County News-Times in his almost perennial vendetta against state Rep. Ben Harbin for utilizing his legal rights in delaying his court date, why don't you read a Rants and Raves insert in the Sunday, May 11 Chronicle.

With very little word substitution, it could have been written about The Chronicle and The News-Times.

It says: "Just a thought ... maybe if people quit complaining about everything Augusta is doing wrong and actually put a little effort in themselves, maybe, just maybe we can start cleaning up Augusta!"

Should you look at the culmination of your campaign against Harbin after he is out and your choice is in the office? Will you accept your responsibility for the county's deep loss in the Legislature after Harbin is gone?

Can whales fly? Maybe they will, after you have completed working over Harbin!

When is enough, enough? Read that Rants and Raves article, then look in the mirror.
