The Columbia County Board of Elections will hold voter registration drives from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the Circle K in Appling, May 24 at Kmart in Martinez, and 6-9 p.m. May 24 at Columbia County's Red, White and Blue Veterans Celebration in Evans. Preschool walk

Garden series

The Columbia County Extension Service Gardening at Lunch series for 2008 continues 12:10-12:45 p.m. today at the Columbia County library with extension agent Charles Phillips conducting a session on water conservation. Church concert

Memory screen

The Augusta office of the Alzheimer's Association will hold free memory screenings from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday at Elmcroft of Martinez, on The Pass at Furys Ferry Road. For information, call (706) 731-9060.

Spring revival

Sharon Baptist Church, 6262 Cobbham Road, Winfield, will hold its spring revival 7 p.m. May 18-21 with the Rev. Phil Bray, pastor of Fort Creek Baptist Church in Dearing, and music leader Hal Perdue. A nursery will be provided.
