The smell of grilled chicken awaits bargain hunters on the lawn of Grovetown United Methodist Church this weekend.

The church is holding its semi-annual Chicken-Que and Yard Sale on Saturday at 206 E. Robinson Ave.
The yard sale, which also features homemade baked goods, runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., said Mary Ann Navarro, an event coordinator.
"This is a big event (with) a lot of bargains," Navarro said.
Barbecue dinners will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"We've been doing this for more than 20 years," Navarro said.
"We've got some experience in doing the chickens."
A $6 dinner plate includes a half chicken, green beans, cole slaw, bread and tea.
Advance orders can be placed by calling (706) 863-6668.
Proceeds from the Chicken-Que and Yard Sale will benefit the church's mission programs, including local and national mission trips and activities, Navarro said.
The event will be held rain or shine, Navarro said.
For more information, call the church at (706) 863-6668.
